Our custom booklets and brochures are an ideal way to print your company reports, magazines, programs, or showcase your product and service information. Our brochures help to portray your company brand visually and tactically. Use at exhibitions, trade fairs, sales meetings, or as direct mail to make a lasting impact on your customers.

Brochure sizing

A4 and A5 are perfect sizes for your company brochure, report, or newsletter and are the most commonly requested size. However, at Northern Print Solutions, we also produce booklets and brochures in 148mm square and 210mm square.

Brochure binding

Saddle stitch binds the pages of a booklet together using staples, otherwise known in the industry as stitches. Printed sheets are gathered together, folded, and stapled through the fold line with sturdy wire staples.

A saddle stitch brochures are great for documents with a minimum of 4 pages and up to a maximum of 32 pages. It is an excellent value providing a professional finish at a cost-effective price.

Paper options

We only use the highest quality papers in our print, and you can rest assured that they are all either FSC or PEFC accredited, and are sourced from managed, sustainable woodland.

Cover paper weight and finish

Self Cover: A self-cover means that the weight of paper used on the cover is the same as the weight of the paper within the brochure.?

Delux 250gsm Cover: A deluxe 250gsm cover is a heavier weight to the internal pages of the brochure and will add strength and a premium feel.

Internal page paper weight and coating

Internal pages are available in weights of 130gsm and 170gsm and can be uncoated or have a silk or gloss coating. The 130gsm paper is useful if you have more than 24 pages to print, want your brochure to be compact, and wish to stop the document from self opening.

Silk: A silk coated paper provides a smooth touch to the page, and helps coloured print stand out.?

Gloss: A gloss coated paper provides a visually shiny surface to the paper, and exceptionally smooth touch and provides sharpness to the print.

Uncoated: An uncoated paper provides a soft feel to the paper, and, as the ink is absorbed more than on a silk or gloss coated paper, the print itself has a smoother finish.
